literally means the art of decoration with the help of a pen. It is made up of
two words ‘kalam’[meaning pen] and ‘qari’ [meaning to decorate].It is an
exquisite ancient craft of hand painting and block printing with vegetable
dyes. It has evolved over the last 3000 years in Srikalhasti near Tirupati and
Machilipatnam. They have different styles while machilipatnam followed Islamic
aesthetics, Srikalahasti followed Hindu mythological figures.

thinking is to make a conscious effort to stop worrying and feeling anxious.
Worry uses up a lot of our energy and makes us feel tired and depressed. We
